Naturalists Without Borders is an NGO which aims to help the conservation and management of the biological heritage of the most beautiful places on the planet. We have many collaborative projects in Europe, but our main target are the developing nations.
We operate without interfering through the cooperation protocols with Universities, biological stations, wildlife observatories and conservationist associations to contribute to land management and economic development.
Currently we collaborate with signed agreements in the following projects:
Our international courses are a way to the popularization and protection of these unique and peculiar spaces. The courses are practically free, and they have a direct relationship with research and management.
The newly formed Italian delegation of Naturalists Without Borders, while collaborating actively for the international courses of nature conservation, together with the scientific association Centro Studi Fauna is responsible for studies and research on wildlife in Sardinia, with particular reference to the Asinara National Park.
The venue for the presentation of the research and cooperation team has been theWildlife observatory of Asinara National Park National Park, in Tumbarino, the more active ringing station in Sardinia.
In 2011 the research group is going to promote all year round courses of scientific ringing in Asinara National Park; twice a year a shipment from Italy will leave for the international courses with groups of students, researchers and people keen about nature for unforgettable experiences of research and direct management of wildlife and ecosystems.
